Our vision statement is to establish a thriving, vibrant and faith filled Church in the heart of Kilkenny where the end-time harvest of souls can be reaped. Our central vision is encapsulated in two words, the Name above every name, Jesus Christ. With Him as our focus and the centre of all we do, we aim to achieve and diversify in each of the following areas:
1. Victorious Christian living through the accurate and uncompromised teaching of the Word of God.
2. Inspirational praise and worship which brings us into the arena of God’s presence and anointing.
3. Cell Group meetings in the homes of those believers who are committed to the overall pastoral vision of Victory Christian Fellowship.
4. Total Prosperity.
5. Outreaching to Kilkenny and the South East with a message of love and hope to those in need of salvation.
6. Restoration of lives that have been broken through hurt, rejection, fear, disappointments and by life itself.
7. Yes to the will of God for our lives as individuals of the Body that comprises Victory Christian Fellowship.
We believe…..
The Bible is the Word of God. It is the infallible, authoritative, revealed Will of God. (Hebrews 4:12, John 7:17). It is inspired by God Himself (2 Timothy 3:15 – 17)
There is one true God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Mark 12:29, 1 John 5: 6 – 8)
Jesus Christ is perfect Deity and perfect humanity (John 3:18; Mark 2: 27 – 28)
- Born of the Virgin Mary: (John 3:16)
- His sinless life (1 Peter 2:22)
- His miracles (Acts 10:38)
- His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
- His bodily resurrection ( Ephesians 1:20)
- His Ascension to the right hand of the Father (Ephesians 1:20)
- His personal return in power and glory (1 Thessalonians 4:13 -18)
- His Millennial reign (Revelation 19:11-16; 20:1-7)
The salvation of man: through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, grace through faith, believing in the heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing that Jesus Christ is Lord with the mouth, will result in man’s salvation. (Romans 3:21-30; 10: 8 – 10).
Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the new birth. (Galatians 4: 4-7)
Water Baptism is an ordinance of the Church and symbolises to the world that one has died with Jesus and has also been raised with Him in resurrection power to walk in newness of life. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6;4-11; Ephesians 2:6).
Communion is an ordinance of the Church and symbolises the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ as the new covenant between God and man. (1 Corinthians 11:24 – 25, 28).
Evidence of the in-filling of the Holy Spirit which is the promise of the Father, is found in the speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:4; Acts 19: 2-6; Acts 2: 42-43)
The Church is the Body of Christ, the dwelling place and home of God through the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2: 19, 22).
The resurrection of the saved and the lost, that if they are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:24, 28, 29).
Total deliverance from sickness, disease and mental torment is provided through the atonement of Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 52:4; Matthew 8:16,17; Mark 16:18; John 5: 6- 14; 1 Peter 2;24; Colossians 1:3; Ephesians 1:20-21).
Prosperity: Spiritual ( John 3: 3;11) Mental (Romans 12:2), Physical (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17), Financial (3 John 2; Malachi 3: 10-11), Social (Proverbs 3:4).
Women in Ministry: There is no scriptural prohibition concerning women ministering in the church. (Acts 18: 24-26, Acts 21: 8-9, Galatians 3;28, Romans 12:4-6).
The Second Coming of Christ: (Titus 2:3).
